Day 1 Left Southport at 8am. Stopped at the Hawley's traditional stop - Reins in Vernon Center, Ct at noon. Got to Fishkill at 2:30 so took a side trip to West Point. The Colonel's quarters still look lovely to me. The rest is a bit worn out and our old quarterss has been replaced by a huge day care/child development center. Thought you would get a chuckle out of Army Football Truck . Note the image of the driver handing off the football. A good start. Looking forward to Amish country tomorrow on the way to Baltimore.
Does the car run good and have your figured out blue tooth.
ReplyDeleteAlso. I want a blue bag with a dogfish tonight.
ReplyDeleteOK. One more post to see if my profile changed.
ReplyDeleteGlad you made it. How were the pickles at Rein's? Do you take picture requests? I would like to see a clever picture of a Fishkill sign - something with a dead fish on it. Beware of the Amish. They may look friendly but they're old-school and scrappy.
ReplyDeleteDid you have any of their pickles?
