Yosemite National Park

Something happened to my post yesterday so will try again.  I saw all the iconic Yosemite Village features.  But what really got my attention was all the rock.  The sheer cliff, huge boulders in river beds and the whole result of seismic shifts is impressive.  Also waterfalls and rivers make this park a special place.  Driving through the so called foothills is lovely with orange and yellow poppies growing in the fields.  Photo of rock arch over the road is the El Portal entrance to the park. Heading for the coast tomorrow.
Now we know the grass is greener....
